Haggis, 'hawk, St. Patty's!

PICTURE POST! CHECK OUT MY HAIR! I'll get to that, but first

HAGGIS!

Doesn't that look absolutely horrible! I won't discuss what Erin and I thought it looked like, but we didn't want to eat it. Whatever, we ate it anyway! It took me this long to try it, mostly because it seemed like a silly thing to do by myself.

Erin looking really excited about her purchase!

Me eating a chip. The chips were really good, despite the horrible look on my face.

Devoured!!! It really isn't that bad, or weird even. Just like mushy meatloaf with tons of onions. We got deepfried, with lots of vinegar and salt.

Then it got weird.

We got Chilli and Chocolate potato chips. Uggh. It was like Mexican Hot Chocolate and Mashed potatoes. Ew.
We also got Onion Bhaji.

We shared with Latoya Montana. (we improved our kitchen miley cyrus poster.)

Alright! Linda cut my hair again! I know have a weird messy mohawk. Check it.

Also, here is a picture of Erin's last day here. I really really like this picture!

ST PATTY'S!

Check out the party time!

Check out the Guinness! Mine is the only one without pink stuff in it. Its black current, I thought that would taste like bread with jam. Gross.

Brady, Grace, Alyssa, Crystal, Linda, Me

Brady guarding our barrel with her life!!!

Pizza and cider break!

Then we met up with Kate and her friend Haley and flatmates.

Me, with Campbell. This is a silly picture.

Me with Kate, I look distraught.

WOO! Ireland! (she's Irish)

Rawr.

Yeah Buddy!

And for your entertainment enjoyment, here is a video of our first bites of haggis. Yeah!

I'll try to update again before Brace gets here, because once he gets here I am going to disappear off the face of the planet. Wooooo!

LONDON!!!!!!!

OK! so last Friday Erin and I got on a train in Glasgow on our way to London. We could have taken pictures and stuff, but we didn't. We just wanted to get to the hostel and stuff. Our hostel was a bit outside of the downtown city part of London, near Greenwich. Here was our first impression of the hostel, called the birds nest.

Yep! That tv only had one channel, but we watched it anyway! This was the hangout room. We used it to hang out.

It also had a bar downstairs with live music! Here is Erin, enjoying a bottle of Banana Bread Beer. Weird. We ordered in some kebabs, because we hadn't eaten since the train.

Here is after beer and kebabs. I couldn't actually rock on the horse, because I would have broken it, but here is my compromise.

After that we found a ridiculous puzzle that had an image, but you also had to match up musical trivia, like "Bob Dylan's album that people are really into from this year" and then you had to look for all the Bob Dylan albums and try to match them up, "Blonde on Blonde!" we would say. It was mostly Dylan, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, but I found a few Prince and Police ones I got right away. There were a few other easy ones, but I cannot remember what they were right now. We were obviously really into it.

THE NEXT DAY! SATURDAY!

Erin outside our hostel.

It was pretty cool looking.

Then we took various light rails and tubes to the National Gallery, we went in the Portrait part.

Here is the Gallery! Notice the weather. What the hell? Where are my grey skies?

COOL! This is all Trafalgar Square.

Then we moseyed to Picadilly Circus, after getting some pastries and coffees.

Protest about Tibet! We had good timing to catch this.

Us being disaffected, and eating pastries.

Then we went to China Town!!!

Plastic food window display!

Then we went to some gardens, the Victoria Embankment Gardens! (I think)

Ugggggh Robert Burns, he is EVERYWHERE! (The National Poet of Scotland. Of course I found him, we are very close these days.)

LOOK AT THIS MAJESTIC STATUE OF A MAN ON A CAMEL!

SO INCREDIBLY MAJESTIC! LOOK AT IT!

Actual size.

Yeah, trick photography.

My favorite statue of all time. Arthur Sullivan? If there is ever a statue made for me, I want something like this, ok everybody? Except it should be Brace leaning on the column, obvs.

Look at this sweet view of the river!

Cleopatra's Needle.

Me, chillin with this guy.

Lookit that!

BOMB SCARRING

Reading some map.

Picturesque!

Another protest!

WESTMINSTER!

Gorgeous!

This is how we feel about it.

BIG BEN!

Churchill! My, aren't you foreboding?

Whoa!

Then we somehow made it to Buckingham! VICTORIA! GOLD ANGELS!

GATES!

Keeping himself warm by marching around, we think.

Lookit that!

Informational! (I love making videos now.)

Tired feetsies.

We're England, lookit all of these places we stuck our nose in! WOOOO!

I just liked the Scottish guy. Screw all those other guards.

Terrifying.

"Hey, what is this commemorating?" "I don't know, I'm just pointing to Denver"

ARCH!

This was in some mall type place at Picadilly. This is a nice backpack, I almost bought it for Grey.

AT NIGHT!

Back at the Bird's Nest

The next morning. Looking for the British Museum.

I found it!

We could have taken pictures inside, but we were busy looking. Summary: Our mummies, let us show you them!

RIVER! And other various landmarks.

THE GLOBE!

Walking along the river!

This boat!

Whoa!

Ok, sorry, that was a really lazy blog. I just wanted to get some pictures up before it got to the point that I wouldn't be able to catch up. Maybe I will put up more, maybe I won't. Let me know if you want to see more pictures, or if you want to know what something is, or if you want to see something specific. It makes it a lot more fun to have this little blog be a little interactive you know.

Anyway, that was London, we saw TONS of stuff, in a very tiny amount of time. WOO!
